Membership of pediatric dentistry (MPaed)

Welcome to our Postgraduate Paediatric Dentistry Program at Mira Dental Academy. The goals of the program are to provide foundation knowledge and educational experiences in paediatric dentistry and offer diverse experiences in all aspects of paediatric dentistry clinical care as recognized by the specialty.

Program description:

The Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (MPaed) is a Tri-Collegiate and is run jointly between the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and The Royal College of Surgeons of England. During this 3 year program candidates receive extensive theoretical and clinical training in Paediatric Dentistry including, but not limited to, comprehensive care of both healthy and special needs children and adolescents, restorative dentistry, pulp therapy, periodontal therapy, orthodontic therapy, growth and development, treatment of patients under conscious sedation, treatment of patients in the operating room under general anesthesia, and management of traumatic injuries.
